Unit Operation and Specs
Introduction:

We are confident you will enjoy many trouble free years with this unit. To assist with this and use of this product, we have prepared this short guide. The CurrentSea Wavemaker unique 2 to 4 channel time. This unit features a selector switch for slow waves, fast waves and sound activated waves. The wavemaker can run on 120 volts or 220 volts. The proper household voltage (120v or 220v) once selected on the wavemaker determines the voltage of the powerhead outlets on the unit. For example, If you are running 220 volts on the wavemaker you need 220 volt powerheads.

Operations:

This Wavemaker has been designed to funciton with either 120V-60Hz or 230V-50Hz. On the label and voltage selector switch on the unit for the correct voltage being used.

Front Panel Switch
This is a three position switch.
Timer
In the left position the speed control knob allows the choice of variable speeds
from 2 minutes to 15 minutes for calm to feeding waters.
Chase
In the center position the speed control knob allows the choice of variable chase
speeds of 5 seconds to 30 seconds for turbulent to rolling waters.
Sound
By selecting the far right position, the Wavemaker will be in sound active
mode. This mode utilizes sound to trigger the changing of channels. This is used to fully random
wave motion via sound. Create wave motion in your tank with a beat to your favorite song!
Power Switch
Turns the unit on and off.
Channel Selector switch
Select 2 or 4-channel operation.
In 2-channel mode
the unit will combine channels 1 & 2 as channel A and channels 3 & channel B.

Replacing the Fuse:

If the unit does not function at all when connected to the power, then it is highly likely the fuse has blown. Disconnect the power before attempting to replace the fuse. Unscrew fuse holder cover located at the bottom of the unit to reveal the fuse. It is very important to replace the fuse with the correct rating. Failure to use the correct fuse could damage the Wavemaker beyond economic repair. The fuse should simply be placed inside the fuse holder and screw cap replaced. When this is done, plug in the power and test the unit. If this is still not working, please contact CurrentSea at suppor@currentsea.com

Caution:

-Keep unit away from splash and wet areas as much as possible.
-Do not submerge the unit in water.
-Do not obstruct the unit's air vents.
