Description:
The effect the CurrentSea Wavemaker creates in the aquarium is natural not only to corals, but also to the other aquarium inhabitants, allowing them to display their natural "bloom" and "behavior." Click here to see the Wavemaker in action.
The CurrentSea Wavemaker is fully adjustable via the knob on the front panel. the CurrentSea Wavemaker cones equipped with four channels. These channels can be used independently on four separate powerheads or combined resulting in alternating powerheads two at a time. The wavemaker can run on 120 volts or 220 volts. The proper household voltage of the four powerhead outlets on the unit. For example, If you arerunning 220 volts on the wavemaker you will need 220 volt powerheads.
Do not be fooled by wavemakers that only have switching intervals of 15 or more minutes. For typical ocean simulation wave actions are required at 5-30 second intervals, howerver other intervals may be used for feeding and random wave motion.
Variable Wave Motions:
In "Timer" mode, the powerheads change in delays ranging from 2 to 15 minutes for calm or feeding waters.
In "Chase" mode, the powerheads change delays ranging from 5 to 30 seconds for turbulent or rolling waters.
Adjusting the knob to desired delay allows user to select appropriate setting. Additionally, the front panel has an LED indicator that shows which powerheads are in use.
In "Sound" mode, the powerheads change in random delays when a certain sound level is produced. This mode is used for fully random wave motion via sound.
